Dr. Lisa Caraway Oliver, EdD, is an ACPE-trained chaplain, educator, and consultant specializing in trauma, grief, bereavement, and end-of-life decision-making. Her work focuses on interpreting the human impact of serious injury and death within medical and legal contexts.|
She serves as Principal of Trauma & Grief Consultants, LLC, providing consultation and expert witness services to attorneys in wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and trauma-related cases. Her expertise includes the analysis and clear explanation of the psychological, relational, and existential effects of sudden and violent loss.
Dr. Oliver’s expertise is grounded in direct, bedside experience with families navigating sudden death, traumatic injury, and critical medical decisions in Level I trauma environments. Her work includes both adult and pediatric settings, with exposure to emergency and intensive care contexts.
